Massage Therapist

Do you absolutely love the power of healing?

Do you feel proud when you’ve helped someone with their pain or solved their problem? Are you a self-starter eager to grow personally and professionally? Then we’d love to work with you!

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients’ soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion
• Develop and propose client treatment plans specifying which massage types to use
• Consult clients about medical histories and issues with stress/pain to tailor massage techniques
• Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues for medical conditions, injuries, or wellness
• Prepare and blend oils and apply to clients’ skin
• Recommend self-care clients can do after their sessions
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records
• Participate in meetings and training
• Handle client checkout and rebooking in scheduling software

Qualifications

• Licensed Massage Therapist in Texas (required)
• Experience in spa or therapy center environments preferred
• Skilled in Swedish, prenatal, trigger point, sports, and deep tissue massage
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong computer and interpersonal skills
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Ability to customize massage pressure and duration
• Bonus: Certifications in cupping, hot stone, neuromuscular, lymphatic drainage, etc.
